Yes, I have a Canon Ink Jet w/WiFi and it prints fine.

Yes, a printer can be used with this product.

I use 3 different printers via a wifi connection at various locations and it was a snap to set it up. There are also usb ports on the macbook so I would assume you can connect virtually anything to it with the right cord, or connector and cord.
