A:Answer So I ended up purchasing this computer and I got the Bamboo Ink Stylus as well, just to see if it would work.
I tried to install the Bamboo software to link the pen, and it said it was not compatible with this laptop.
However, it does allow me to write on the screen with the pen, but I don’t think I have access to the full capability of the pen.
What I can do is write on the screen most of the time, and in tablet mode it will even pull up a writing bar instead of the touchscreen keyboard if I am using the stylus. It also allows me to erase by holding down one of the buttons, so the stylus was not a complete waste and I am going to keep using it.
