“how long will the polymer battery last?, how do you replace it? I was wondering how long the battery will run the computer?, and if it can"t be removed how long is its battery life, and how do you replace it? all my laptop batteries have only lasted @ 2 years then I buy another and replace it !, what do you do with this one?, throw the computer away when the battery eventually dies !, and the polymer does not last, both charge wise, or durability wise as long as a 3 cell Lithium-ion battery, instead of a 2-cell Polymer battery that comes with this Lap Top, this issue may be the deal breaker ! otherwise I would love this machine!”

The battery is replaceable. Like hard drive and RAM changes, you'll have to remove the backplate. Backplate removal is easily done once you know how. It's a two step process: remove screws then using a credit card insert it into the side of the unit and follow around the metal housing until all the plastic clips release. Remove the back and you'll have access to everything. Don't worry, it's a good computer and very serviceable... anything that needs to be done you can do.
