It should be noted that this laptop does NOT come with a PCI-E SSD (nVME). It's a M.2 SATA III SSD. There's a huge difference between nVME and SATA III. The SSD this comes with is a Sandisk X400, with has a max sequential read/write speeds of 540/520 MBps. nVME (PCI-E) SSDs are closer to 2600 MBps for reads and 1600 MBps for writes.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is a 2.5 inch bay as well as the M.2 slot which can accommodate PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe SSDs. The SSD installed in this model is an M.2 SATA style. It is quick but not as fast as an NVMe version.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It has an NVMe System drive and a 1 TB spinning SATA storage drive. You can swap this out for an SSD
