It does have a backlit keyboard (you can't change its color) but it gets hot faster than I want it to for a gaming laptop

The keyboard lights up in red. I only play World of Warcraft on it so as far as the heating issues are concerned I don't have any problems.

Yes, it has a backlit keyboard. Red colored on mine. I have a cooling pad and have had no issues with heat. Have only had mine for month or so, but have been pleased with it.

yes it does have a back lit key bored. haven't noticed to much heat yet. haven't had a chance to play any games yet to see how hot it gets

Yes, the keyboard is lit red and upon start up flashes different colors, pretty neat. I have had no heating issue and it's on quite a bit. Boots up fast and is very quick. Nice laptop.

I've owned my new ASUS GL753VEDS74/17.3" FHD/Intel Core i7 for about a month. The keyboard is backlit with red LED lighting. There have been no issues regarding heat and maybe that relates to the fact that the drive is solid state as opposed to a hard drive with moving parts.
