There are no hidden screws under the rubber feet. Once you take out all the screws, flip the computer back up and remove the cover from the keyboard side. It is held in place by plastic clamps. But, be careful! Be gentle prying it open because there are 3 or so ribbon cables that are attached to the motherboard and need to be disconnected before removing that face plate.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I was able to get my thumbnail into the seam between the top and bottom parts of the case on the right side, near the headphone jack and other ports. I was then able to get the corner of a gift card in there. I've seen people recommend guitar picks but I don't have those laying around. Keep the first card where it is (to hold it open) and try to get the corner of another card in there and begin sliding it around the front and the other side of the case and the top deck will pop off. Be very careful lifting it, because there are 3 or 4 ribbon cables connected to it... they're only like 3" long. You'll need a very short screwdriver to get to some of the screws further back, because you won't be able to move the top of the case completely out of the way unless you disconnect the ribbon cables. I actually just held a drill bit with my fingers and used it to remove those screws. There's also a strip of silver tape just to the left of the HDD... you have to remove that cuz there are 2 screws under it. Remove all the screws holding the HDD in place and slide it to the right and it'll pop free. I swapped in a 2.5" Samsung EVO 860... it fit perfectly in the bracket that was holding the HDD and it slid right back into place.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Very carefully. Have to use guitar picks to separate the keyboard from the case (not the bottom of the case). HHD is under the keyboard, lower right corner. Be very careful and not lift up the keyboard too much, so you don't unplug the wires.
