I've probably played a dozen hours in the week I've had mine. It appears to run fairly hot for being "low power" CPU and GPU. To be clear, the laptop itself never felt hot to me, but the internal components did heat up a bit. The CPU max'd mid-upper 80's and the GPU max'd around 80. There are no fan controls so everything is just automatic. During long game sessions I wish I could set the fans to max for the best cooling when I don't need it to be quiet. Speaking of which, I found it to be extremely quiet, especially compared to my bigger gaming laptop that sounds like a hairdryer when on max fans. It plays games way better than I expected. I am used to 3k@120hz gaming, but I do not mind playing games much lower resolution and refresh when I am on the road and traveling light. I was able to rum most games at 1280x720 around 60fps. Some games I could max out, some I had to lower to medium. I don't think I had any that I had to lower all the way down. I prefer higher FPS and higher settings and lowering the resolution, especially on a 15.6" screen.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Actually, I found it running hot just by running virus scan. I actually returned mine due to a low level high pitch electronic noise on the fan.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will actually depend on how long you use this unit when playing games. I think 70° below will be normal.
