When you first fold the screen back to go into tablet mode, asus' software will ask you "would you like to place into tablet mode", click the "do not ask me again" or "remember this answer" check box and click "Yes". Afterwards mine moves in and out of tablet mode without issue.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have had many issues with the keyboard and tablet mode. It is supposed to automatically lock the keyboard when flipped on it's hinges. However, after much time spent trying to solve the problem. I think it is finally working properly. I had to update the Bios, which was pretty easy to do. And then uninstall the old version of Asus Fliplock. Then download and install the newer version of Fliplock from the ASUS website. Hopefully it won't start acting up again.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine has the same issue. Really annoying problem when I use it as tablet mode. And the screen auto rotation function is very unstable, need to be locked manually. Thinking to return it again. The 1st one, had a sub-woofer malfunction and this issue, returned. I'm really wondering too "Has ASUS addressed it, possibly with a software patch?"
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not sure if this is still an issue. I purchased this for my wife and we have both only used it for a couple of days now. We have not seen this issue come up yet, but it may be too early to say. So far everything seems to be working as it should. This seems to be a great purchase.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just bought mine in December and have not had any issues with the keyboard not disabling in tablet mode.
