• You can upgrade to windows pro once you have purchased the laptop. I do not believe it comes with Pro installed. I upgraded and it went flawlessly. Of course you have to pay Microsoft.

• I asked that while in Best Buy, and the answer I was given was no. However, upgrading through Microsoft is $99, pre-tax.
