Q: Questioncan i change the hard drive with another ssd and link the both ssd in raid?

• A:Answer You can replace the drive but you cannot do raid with the original SSD unless you use some sort of software raid which defeats the purpose. but let me tell you this thing is fast, even copying data to the spindle drive was fast despite being 5400RPM

• A:Answer Different sales will change the price of the computer. I purchased mine at a very good time (back to school sale, higher than usual percentage off if you got into their rewards program and credit card, and if you had a credit card, you got a gift card which was able to be used immediately). Keep an eye out around August (back to school sales), November (pre-black and black Friday sales), January to February (sales of old models to bring in the new), and May (usually towards the end of a business' fiscal year, so they're trying to sell a lot). Q: Question2 questions are: (1) can the second 2TB HDD be turned off in the BIOS or another way if not immediately needed and thus used only on a backup basis, and (2) if this can be done, this action should save significantly and extend the battery life out.? Thx

• A:Answer The computer is meant to really have the two drives work in-tandem. The drive should be able to be turned off in BIOS, however it may affect warranty. The best thing to do is contact customer service to get more information. you can contact them here: http://www.asus.com/us/support/ If this is done, it wont really effect battery life. Either way, you're using a computer and what really eats up battery life is the display. A lower brightness will definitely increase the battery life. Also, shut down apps or programs running in the background that are unnecessary, but please don't attempt this unless you know what you're doing.

• A:Answer Yes the 4k display is real (sometimes it can be annoying with some scaling issues). As for gaming, Asus has gaming laptops (ROG) which have slightly better specs than this laptop but not too much better. This laptop will handle most games just fine. I am currently playing gta 5, Overwatch, Left 4 dead 2 with medium-low graphics at 70-90 fps.

• A:Answer I was able to connect 5 (yes 5) 1920x1080 monitors to this laptop using various adapters. I would say it can handle at least 2 4k monitors and possibly more with a bit of configuration.

Q: QuestionDoesn't flip or turn into tablet mode, even after clicking tablet mode. I just noticed that the keys do not lock even when in tablet mode and the screen doesn't rotate. At first I thought it was my computer but even the store display doesn't. Any fixes?

• A:Answer This has a Thunderbolt 3 port that is fully compatible with USB-C type devices, USB 2 to USB 3.1 (adapter needed) and Thunderbolt 1 and 2 (adapter needed) and works with Thunderbolt 3 right out of the box. You can get 4K on some games but I notice that there is a slight lag, if you don't mind turning down the resolution then you shouldn't have a problem.
