Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Has anyone actually installed a NVMe M.2 in the Q535UD-BI7T11 yet and tell how it is working for them? Too many conflicting stories on here. Thanks
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought a Samsung 960 EVO Series - 250GB PCIe NVMe - M.2 Internal SSD (MZ-V6E250BW) for a similar model, so yes, it does support NVMe M.2 SSDs
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it does . I just saw the motherboard and it is the same motherboard as the UX561UD zen book flip motherboard. The same which Asus.com states takes pcie nvme so according to the motherboard it does and i will show you when i have it installed !!! I will be swapping the garbage 2tb for the 89$ 500gb 2.5" ssd evo so i can clone the oem M.2 SSD software, then install the pcie nvme m.2 and clone that from the evo 2.5" to My new 500gb 970 evo nvme ssd m.2 . so no moving parts all ssd and 2500-3000 mbps at least cloning windows and all included software will go quickly , i will also need to update the driver on the 970 pro nvme to get the full speed out of it that's on samsung, com free and free samsung magician cloning software from the oem m.2 to samsung sata then from 500gb sata to 970 pro nvme , also warning ... Once you have cloned to the pcie -nvme m.2 remove the 2.5" 860 evo 2.5" drive so it knows to boot from the nvme , then update driver from samsung , and then you can run crystal disk benchmarks finally once the nvme is recognized as the C drive to boot from put back the 2.5" 860 and format it as it will be just for storage and you will already have a copy of the O.S on the sata M.2 oem I cant wait to start
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.priorV is incorrect. I don't know why this individual would make the assumption that a similar model would have the same specs as this one, but I can definitively say the ASUS Q535UD-BI7T11 DOES NOT accept the NVMe protocol. Like you mentioned, the M.2 slot is ONLY SATA. I went into the BIOS to check this. See picture. Both Ports are SATA. Hope this helps!
