how do you get the dvd player to work? null

You have to install dvd playback software. The laptop does not come with it. Try going to the windows store and installing media player and it should work after that.

You have to purchase the app for $14.99

Usually you just pop in the disk and it will autoplay. Otherwise, you can go into my computer and double click on the disk drive icon.

If it is to play movies, you may need to buy software. Most everything else just launches or windows asks you what you want to do when you put the DVD in the drive. I believe you can also right click on the drive letter when a disk is inserted and see what your options are
