SSD's are more expensive per gigabyte or terabyte than HDDs, but if you're willing to spend the money you can get an SSD to match the capacity of your original HDD. If you aren't computer savvy I would not recommend attempting it yourself. The physical swap is very easy, but getting your data from the old HDD to the new SSD will require some savvy.
