On mine the DVD does not play movies. I contacted Asus and they informed me that there is no software included to allow the DVD to play movies. I was instructed by Asus to download VLC player or similar if I wanted a functional DVD player. Perhaps something similar is preventing your game from working
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Windows 8.1 does not include DVD playback. I downloaded the VLC media player off google chrome, not off the app store, and I was able to play my DVDs. Hope This Helps.
