“What Is The Difference Between VN247H and VN247H-P? When I had last went to my local BestBuy, which was a day ago, the only versions of this monitor they had were VN247H's. On the Best Buy website it says there are VN247H-P's in stock. I don't want to get an outdated version by buying a VN247H when I want a VN247H-P. So is there a difference between the 2? What does the "-P" mean on the model number because I've seen multiple model numbers with and without that "-P"?”

VN247H and VN247H-P are the same. The model with -P means it has been registered green product.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.When I went in to buy it there were 3 versions listed with the manufacturer. I didn't see anything different between them on the Asus site and best buy could only get the one version

Please try again later.The P denoted indicates the the monitor is equipped with a digital tv tuner making watching tv on your computer easier between you don't need a digital box or receiver of any kind to connect. Also the digital contrast ration is 5x greater with the P model effectively reducing the consequence of backlight while viewing tv programs on the monitor. They say it is less distracting, though, personally it doesn't bother me. Considering the price is almost identical on either model it becomes a matter of personal preference and needs. Either way, these are excellent monitors and good bargains!
