“Slow is there any reason why my internet would be so slow with this brand new computer? i upgraded from a cheap laptop with windows 8.1. And it seems like this computer is struggling with the easiest tasks. bringing up any pages Google, facebook , youtube etc. i tried upgrading the wifi driver and everything and its all up to date.”

One reason is either your CPU has a heap trying to handle your wifi or the computer doesn't support dual band or 5Ghz wifi.
