• Yes, The 3d only comes in to play when you have nvdia 3D vision enabled on your computer. So if you do not have a 3d capable computer you will still be able to use it.

• Yes this monitor will work for a none 3d computer. As long as you have a dvi, HDMI, or display port cable and a compatible video card to support those inputs.
