• DVI and Display Port can push higher resolutions. Display Port is overall the most ideal as it can support the higher refresh rates as well. Never use HDMI for PC gaming, its limited to 60hz. DVI will push 120/144hz, thats what Im currently using until my display port cable comes in the mail.

• Hands down for PC gaming Displayport for 144hz refresh rates with highest data transfers. Dual DVI for 144hz refresh rates with less data transfers, and lastly HDMI for 60hz refresh rate.

• Dual-link DVI-D is best for gaming, Its will run the monitor at 144HZ refresh rate if your graphics card will support it. HDMI only supports up to 60HZ refresh rate.
