“Does this motherboard require a matching pair of RAM? It has two slots for RAM, and it came with 1x8GB, so do I need to add another 8GB or is 4GB ok? I realize the original 8GB is sufficient, but I have an extra 4GB stick of the same type of RAM and was going to add it, but I wanted to make sure this motherboard doesn't require a matching pair. I searched the owners manual and online and couldn't find a clear answer. Thanks!”

Hello. I would say that adding another 4 GB memory to the second open slot should be OK, as I have seen similar models of this Asus PC come with 12 GBs of memory. Thank you.
