QuestionI'd like to use a second monitor for this and I'm aware it has to be plugged into these slots for the graphics card. I know the yellow is the HDMI port but what kind of port and cord do these red boxes need and is that the correct port for a second screen

- Answer As far as Gaming I would Only Recommend OMEN I purchased Omen because it has all the Specs needed for Graphic design and the kind of Workload needed. And OMEN has an amazing Support System online Where as ASUS Left me hanging with PC I purchased before Omen that Died at about a yr after purchase and after MONTHS of Emails and Begging for help All I got from Asus is we are so sorry and lost 1000s of $$$$

QuestionIs an ASUS monitor required for starting up the desktop when you first use it? I have tried to use other monitors but none of them detected the desktop.

- Answer It should work with just about any monitor, make sure you are hooked into the installed graphics card and not the onboard motherboard graphics card
