Absolutely, my wife and I have the same differences and we have 2 of these in an imesh config and it works perfectly to satisfy 1500 sq feet wireless saturation and vpn . Make sure you get the mobile phone app, it makes setup and management a breeze.

The AX58U also says AX3000 which is on Amazon for $20 cheaper plus my hubby gets 10% off for working there so we did that. I read they were the same just the AX58U was a Best Buy exclusive. We have a 1 story 1400 sq ft house. My husband has trouble with signal in the master bathroom in the back and the router is in a central location on a shelf in our utility room. Hopefully this will work better. Our phones do wifi 6 not that we need it and when we had our house built a few years ago we got Cat 6 cables I believe.
