The RT-AX86U has a 2.5G port and 2 USB 3.2 Gen1 ports and 1GB of RAM, while the RT-AX86S doesn't have a 2.5G port, has 1 USB 3.2 Gen1 and 1 USB 2.0 Gen1 port and 512GB RAM.
