As long as you are updated to the latest version of the OS with PlayStore installed, you can run Minecraft PE and many other Android apps on the ASUS Chromebook. However, unless your daughter also needs the Chromebook for school or other reasons that would require a keyboard, I would recommend getting an Android tablet instead. One that will run Minecraft adequately can be had in the $100 range. If your daughter does need a device that can function like a laptop, the ASUS chromebooks are great.
