Sound quality? Hubby half deaf so needs clear sound. null

Sound is about like a typical laptop; small speakers aiming the wrong direction. Sort of reminds me of a flat screen. Sound is not its strength. I purchased a Bose Soundlink Color Blue Tooth Speaker. Beautiful sound for music or movies!

The speakers on this and on most Chromebooks leave something to be desired. However, sound will come in well with a good pair of headphones or a pair of external speakers. That said, he may want to use some sort of headphone amplifier if he opts for headphones just to make sure it reaches a volume that he can hear.

Decent for size. However, it is not exceptional.
