No, Internet Explorer runs on the Windows operating system, but not on the Chrome operating system. Chromebooks use Chrome as their operating system, not Windows.

If you have a remote Windows computer, you can use Chrome Remote Desktop to access that computer and run Internet Exporer (or Edge in Windows 10) from there. If you want to do some experimentation, there are some websites you can open up in the Chrome browser that will allow you to use a browser within a browser and "test" websites in Internet Explorer. However, these sometimes cost money. On a Chromebook, everything you do is centered around the Chrome browser and Chrome extensions. The new compatibility with Google's Play Store enables you to download other browsers that are compatible with Android. However, Internet Explorer is not an option.
