QuestionI’ve had this laptop for almost a year now and all of a sudden the screen started flickering. It’s been doing this for the past 2 days now. I’ll use it for a bit and the flickers starts. Anyone know why? Or what I can do to stop it?

QuestionI have the Asus Imaginebook. It said the LG DVD writer was compatible, however in the setup it says I have to deactivate the S Mode for Windows 10 and i cannot reactivate. Is there a DVD writer that is capable to Windows 10 S mode for this laptop?

- Answer To be able to use the DVD drive, Windows 10 S mode needs to be switched to Windows 10 Home. To successfully switch, WINDOWS 10 S needs to be setup completely and activated online. Once this is completed, please go to Settings, Activation then click "Go to Store" and follow the wizard in order to switch the OS free. QuestionI just bought this for my son for school. We got it today and got it all set up but he can’t watch videos like from YouTube, the sound is there but the picture is not, it’s all glitchy. Is that something to do w S mode? Or should I return/exchange it?

- Answer Windows 10 has its own Anti-virus software and Firewall "Windows Defender", but you can get other software for money or for free. Norton Antivirus is a popular company, and costs money. Free antivirus and firewall software is out there if you search the web.

- Answer yes you can buy cheap speakers for the laptop, like the Logitech Z200 stereo speakers using a 3.5mm headphone jack. You could even get a Bluetooth speaker like the JBL Flip 4 stereo Bluetooth speaker and connect your music wirelessly using this Laptops Bluetooth.

- Answer Yes you can install Microsoft Office (Word, etc). You can also take it out of S mode (secure mode), so you can install pretty much anything that uses Windows 10. You can also install LibreOffice which is free office software and does most things Word/etc can do. Yes you can hook up a printer with a USB cable or wirelessly using the wifi direct or wifi network router, etc.

- Answer here is the Asus website https://www.asus.com/Laptops/ASUS-ImagineBook-MJ401TA/specifications/ is says its a 128GB PCIe connection. I don't know if that means its a NVMe.
