Yes Geek squad can change out the hard drive if you pay for the SSD and pay for geek squad protect and support. 209.99 ,279.99, and 349.99 are the prices and it goes by years 1,2,3 and you can renew them for up total of five years and hardware install which i believe is 49.99 or 89.99.

Please try again later.You should just get the enhanced version of this Asus that already comes with SSD if this is important to you, if you are still within the return/exchange timeframe or just reading this before buying. The cost & time (and impact on warranty) to swap in SSD to this model may not be worth it (especially if the other Asus is on sale or an open box deal). You 'd probably spend about the cost difference between the two Asus models to replace the hd with ssd. The other Asus has both already built in - 512 gb SSD & 2 tb hd. It also has a 4K display (vs 1080p on this model) & is +4 on ram built in as well (has 16 vs 12 on this model).
