A:Answer Your question is if you can "ADD" a SSD. The answer has not been reported yet. Here are the Facts: You can *swap* the HDD out for a SSD. ALSO: There is an additional M.2 (M(dot)2) connector on the motherboard. However, if the connection has not been soldered at manufacturing, the answer is no (you can test for voltage with a VOM). If the bay is too small, the answer is no. If neither of those conditions are true: then the answer would be yes. (The 'Q' model one up from this does in fact have a SSD AND a HDD). Unfortunately, ASUS will not tell you because adding a SSD voids the warranty, so they 'JUST SAY NO' like it is a campaign to stay off drugs or something. They have not ever answered upgrade questions honestly. ELSE: you will have to wait for someone to actually try it and report the result (Please Do Anyone, we are on our own with this type of "support" from ASUS).
