You are doing something completely wrong! Windows can only be installed on NTFS formatted drives. The extra unwritable room on a drive allow room for your OS to move/process information for those that cannot manage their space. Solution, don't max out the SSD = Good running OS. If the 1TB hasn't been formatted that only take 30-90 sec to format a drive which isn't a issue. YouTube can guide you if need be. to null any silly arguments. Please try again later.Answering my own question: the SSD is the OS (C Drive) with no partitions The 1TB HDD is a secondary drive (D Drive) also with no partitions This was an issue for me because this is my 3rd Asus laptop in roughly 6 years, and the previous two had arbitrary partitions that required formatting before use.
