Q: Which Hard Drive is the OS installed to by default?
A: You are doing something completely wrong! Windows can only be installed on NTFS formatted drives. The extra unwritable room on a drive allow room for your OS to move/process information for those that cannot manage their space. Solution, don't max out the SSD = Good running OS. If the 1TB hasn't been formatted that only take 30-90 sec to format a drive which isn't a issue. YouTube can guide you if need be. to null any silly arguments.
