The first answer is incorrect; you can (and I did) install an SSD in this unit, which really makes it fly. You need an M.2 SATA SSD, such as the Samsung EVO 250, not a PCIe SSD. Note the laptop slot doesn't have a screw for attaching the SDD, so if you buy an SSD that doesn't come with one (the Samsung did not), you'll need to find one to fit. (Note: I bought this online rather than from BB.) I believe you need an M2x3mm screw; you can find them at online retailers for a cheap price.
