You can swap out the internal SSD, make certain you mirror it as this contains your back up of windows. Yes you can replace the internal HDD for a SATA SSD, I did that as well. However there really isn’t much room for a second one unless you make or buy a stackable holder for the SSD drives, there are no slide out or mountable racks in the case.

I needed to use my Win 10 Pro boot M.2 & extra game M.2 SSD's as well as two additional hard drives (3.5" & 2.5" already in plastic carriers). So 1st, remove case divider & GPU. Install boot M.2 in top slot(under a cover) & & extra M.2 below. Open up right side to install extra HDD's for a total of 3 stacked & insulated from each other then neaten up cables. In BIOS you must(for Win 10) disable in Advanced/PCH-FW/Config/ from Firmware to Discrete. Then in Advanced/Trusted Computing/Security Device Support from Enabled to Disable. Then if not running a Raid Array (I'm not) in Advanced/ I forgot all the settings(CSM On I think, Intel Rapid Storage Tech Off, etc...), turn it off in order to boot to a single drive. And under Boot/Secure Boot Mode/ from Custom to Standard. Anyway, for me that's what I did to Boot to an existing Windows 10 Pro M.2 NVMe drive (with a new OEM key from GAMIVO/Kinguin etc). And also this "CUSTOM" MB is actually a ROG STRIX B660-G GAMING WIFI MB. So those Win 10 drivers/utilities work.
