Yes, this desktop has 2 x LO DIMM socket for expansion up to 32 GB DDR4 3200Mhz (support 8G,16G).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.you can use 3200 speed and using 2 sticks vs one is a huge improvement. however the bios is locked and cant enable xmp to get full 3200 speed. so most sticks will be limited to 2133 speed without xmp. however upgrading to two sticks made a huge diffrence. was able to max settings vs low in vr. there are a few brands of ram that run native 2660 no xmp but hard to know excatly whic ones. so worth upgrading but without xmp most will be limited to 2133 or 2666 since bios is locked .. ive searched alot and cant seem to find work around.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can. Typically you want to make sure that whatever you use for memory is all the same brand as the others. So make sure to take the other memory out and just replace with the G.Skill and you should be good to go :)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. Just be sure to check your BIOS and make sure that your new hardware is being run at the 3200mhz speeds and isnt being slowed down by the motherboard. You should be able to adjust some settings in BIOS to make it faster, however, i have NOT yet done this upgrade and i am unsure if the extra speed will be used. HOWEVER, the 32gb of ram will be faster than the 16gb single stick that is currently in the system regardless of weather or not you can adjust the bios settings. it will be an upgrade no matter what. just might not get ALL of the RAMs potential.
