Easily. It has an i7 processor with a gtx 970 graphics card. And 12 GB Ram upgradeable to 16. Minecraft recommended settings need an i3 processor and only 2xx series of GeForce graphics card. This laptop has been running some pretty good games for me so far and I just plan to upgrade ram to 16gb so I can run Prey at max settings and some other newer games.
