Unlike a desktop PC that normally has an PCI-E slot to upgrade the video card, the graphics chip is part (soldered) to the Laptop motherboard and not something you can upgrade. you would probably need to purchase an external video card setup for your laptop that would allow you to connect a high end desktop video card to your laptop.

But what's the point, that's 400-600 you can use towards a laptop in 2-3 years, save that money, and also sell this one for 150-300 in said time. For now this lappy will run most new games in 1080p medium-to high settings w no lag, and just about everything else in ultra settings. FYI, it's equivalent to a system running a 1050ti
