This has the 6GB GTX1060. I ran the Steam VR Checker and it was rated as "VR Ready" and near the top of the scale.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hey there. So this model is a pre-order and specs are open to change per the manufactures discretion. Although I highly doubt they will change it. But as it stands now this will be running an i7-8750H, 16GB DDR4 RAM, a GTX 1060 with 6GB of GDDR5 VRAM, as well an m2 ssd and hybrid sata drive. The recommended specs for VR gaming with units such as Oculus and Vive are a modest intel i5 processor or equivalent AMD core and a GTX 970 or 1060. Although the recommended amount of VRAM is not mentioned I can tell you 3GB of VRAM will work but 6GB of VRAM is optimal. So long story short yes this machine is VR ready.
