Yes, it does support SSDs. It has 2 slots for NVMe drives, and 6 SATA ports. If using an NVMe drive, it will disable SATA ports 5 and 6, so only 1-4 (I believe the top 4) will be useable. Currently I have a PCIE 4 1TB NVMe drive in slot one, PCIE 3 1TB NVMe in slot 2, a 1TB SSD IN SATA 1, 500GB SSD in SATA 2, 3TB HDD in SATA 3, and a 8TB HDD in SATA 4. If using the NVMe slots, don't forget to peel the protective plastic off of the cover when re-covering.

It will disable SATA ports 5 and 6 ONLY IF using the second M.2 slot lower on the motherboard, so SATA ports only 1-4 will be useable. If using the NVMe slots, don't forget to peel the protective plastic off of the cover when re-covering. Of the two M.2 slots, only the top slot supports PCIE 4.0.
