QuestionHello, can this computer run Fortnite for my son, he likes to play at highest settings; also does this have a 3080 or 3070 (not sure what my son is referring to)

- Answer It should be able to play that game at the highest settings. As far as the GPU goes, it is using the new Radeon RX 6800m. Looking at benchmarks it sits, between the 3070 and the 3080 as far as performance.

QuestionHow are thermals in this laptop? I can´t not see that information anywhere yet... and also, for those who know, which specific RAM do you recommend in order to achieve that performance boost everybody talks about?

- Answer My CPU actually runs above 90°c often. At idle on performance or turbo it's fine, runs 50-60°c and it's ok on battery without much load but 3DMark Time Spy and most games I've played it easily hits 95°c @ around 50% load. GPU in games for me runs cooler usually 70-80°c @ +90% load.

- Answer No, the laptop doesn't support Gen 4 SSD, it only support Gen 3.

- Answer 90Kwh battery. It has amazing battery life, in review review so far(I've watched / read them all), it smashes the competition at around 10ish hours of watching movies / browsing the web. While Gaming it's about an hour - normal for gaming laptops sadly, on a model twice as expensive you might see 90 minutes.

QuestionAre there any expectations of a release of an "enhanced" BIOS that allows for XMP? I am holding on getting better set of RAM sticks since I do expect ASUS & AMD to continue to improve their showcase A E Laptop just to prove that it can be done!

- Answer XMP was not implemented on the hardware design, therefore, a BIOS update will not provide an XMP support.

QuestionHow much can you increase the storage per m.2 slot. It is exactly that I want to know if I can put 1, 2, 3 or 4 Tb in a single M.2 port or I can only increase it to 1 Tb per port for a maximum of 2 Tb combining the two ports.

- Answer I bought an open-box and it was simply an exposition model (in-store). It was perfect, not a single flaw but was only delivered with the charger and no packaging which I did not mind. I would go for it again without a second thought

- Answer 12Gb of GDDR6 for the 6800M I've had no problems with leaking liquid metal. I think some laptops had issues early on but not enough to cause a major recall that I'm aware of. NachoCheese

QuestionI've never owned a gaming laptop. I've heard high temperatures are what limits them, regardless of high strong the CPU / GPU is. Does this one bottleneck itself with how hot it runs?

- Answer No this laptop keeps the Temps within spec without throttling, some other laptops don't have adequate cooling which is what causes the performance hits on certain models.
