- Answer The front panel has 1 x USB 3.1 Gen 1 type A and 1 x USB 3.1 Gen 1 type C, the rear panel has 6 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 type A and 1 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 type C ports as well as 1 x USB 2.0 type C (Audio only).

QuestionWill a 2.5 HDD work or is this motherboard setup to only use SSD's? The former or latter are fine, just want to know if I should be looking for nice SSD's or a Gigantic storage 2.5 HDD? Eventually HDD will be obsolete, or in very special operations. TY!
