Q: QuestionWhat is the max ram? Is there an open slot?
Asked by John.
- A:Answer We await an Asus/Best Buy answer since Specs currently don’t say. But tentatively consider the following: one of the pics says DDR5 RAM clocked at 5600. That is the fastest supported (achievable anyway) regular SODIMM RAM, so we can guess it is SODIMM. If it is SODIMM it is very likely 2 slots and expandable an unlikely more slots. That is, likely 2 x 16GB sticks that you throw away to go to 64 or 96. Likely to say 96 max but 128 probably doable. If it were soldered it would be LPDDR5X clocked at 8000 and not expandable.
