“how bright is this laptop ( in nits )??? ive been looking for a new laptop lately and most of them werent bright enough to my taste (maybe ive been spoiled by my 5 yrs old asus laptop). over 400 nits would be nice”

According to several YouTube video reviews of the ASUS ROG Strix Scar 17, the average brightness is 300+ nits: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sx3F63famdU Unfortunately, that is not very bright. I hope this answers your question.
