Q: QuestionSo i want to put a i7 7700 in this motherboard but on other sites it says that this motherboard is only compatible with 8th gen processors, but on bestbuy it just says its compatible with i7 processors. So will it be compatible with and 7700?

- A:Answer as long as its a 8th gen processor. It will say in the description, newer made I7 7700,7700k,8700,8700k,8086k are 8th gen. if it doesnt say 8th gen then look for 300 series chipset and 1151 socket

- A:Answer All ASUS products undergo intensive quality control testing and inspections, this is a random problem. ASUS provides warranty coverage in order to fix or repair any product that may stop working prematurely under normal usage.

Q: QuestionWill I need an 8th gen processor on hand to update the BIOS when the 9900k comes out or can I update it with USB? I do not own an 8 and I don't know anybody that can let me borrow one.

- A:Answer Yes you'd need to buy or borrow an 8th gen processor to flash a new bios. Alternatively you could take it to a PC shop and ask them to update the bios for you.
