FPS is really determined more by the graphics settings that you select in-game. That being said, the 1070 will allow you to use slightly higher settings for a similar FPS that the 1060 would give you at lower settings. You would also need a monitor that has higher than 180 hz refresh rate, otherwise your FPS will be limited to whatever the refresh rate your monitor is.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends on what game you are running and what monitor you have. Anything over your monitors refresh rate is pointless. I have a 1080 and my refresh rate is 144. It can get up to 160fps(honestly I stopped watching it to know it's max) but it's wasted if the monitor can't keep up.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Your GTX 1060 will not give you 180 frames but it will get really close to it and it will save you money
