- Answer Other ASUS authorized retailers have pre-orders listed as shipping in July, but honestly that could just be a best guess. Anytime this year is fair game.

- Answer Unfortunately, the ASUS GC33Y (ROG XG Mobile) is designed as an external GPU dock for laptops and is not intended to be used as an internal GPU for desktop PCs. It connects to compatible ASUS laptops via a proprietary interface and is not compatible with desktop motherboards.

- Answer Certainly, the overall system performance will be better since the RTX 4090 is a better GPU than the RTX 3080.

- Answer NO! It definitely does NOT work with the Ally X, unless the Asus rep knows about an adapter that is not publicly available yet. It DOES work with the standard white Ally z1 and z1 extreme models. Even physically the XG Mobile connector won't physically fit in the Ally X.
