what ram should I get for this laptop? null

To add to that comment, keep in mind you can’t mix buffered and unbuffered ram. My machine (per hardware info app) says the sticks are unbuffered. So whatever you do, check yours to make sure it’s one or the other. It should be the same as mine, but we shouldn’t assume anything when it comes to installing components.

Like all current AMD processors it uses DDR-4 3200 ram. This laptop however has 8gb soldered to the motherboard which means you will only be able to swap out the other 8gb dimm. Any additional ram beyond 16gb will run as single channel.
