The board has M.2 NVMe 2280 PCIe 3.0 slots. Two slots. 1TB stick in one slot, the other is one is empty. There is no 2.5 SATA SSD drive slot on the board

M.2: It has an expansion M.2 slot in addition to the slot that the initial SSD is fitted into. I was able to install and format M.2 2280 without any issues. I can't immediately tell if it's 4.0 capable. As a remark, the documentation specifically states that it is not M.2 SATA SSD compatible. I've included a photo with near the M.2 slot and a full backplate removed photo. Slight technicality, the full photo included MAY be of the 3080 version, because I couldn't find my photo quickly and thus am using one from a friend, but regardless, the PCB is basically the exact same as when I removed the backplate myself.
