“ASUS seems to say that 24GB is Max RAM but some people are claiming this can handle up to 40. Has anyone actually put a 32GB chip in and verified that the system can handle 40GB?”

So I added a 32gb stick and yes it works out u loss duel channel mode both sticks have to be same size and ram speed and since one stick is Soldered on your kind of stuck there
