I'm pretty sure someone already answered this question. But its a yes and a no type deal, one ram stick is soldered to the motherboard while the other is upgradable.

If you do choose to upgrade the other slot to a 16 or 32 gb stick, you WILL lose dual channel, which will cause slight, however noticeably slower RAM performance. It all comes down to whether you feel that having faster, 16 gb dual channeled RAM is better, or if you want to take your chances with more, but slightly slower RAM. If you’re going to just play games, then 16 gb is the sweet spot. If you’re going to do more content creation than gaming, then slower RAM wouldn’t affect a thing, and upgrading may be the better choice
