It's a gaming laptop, so it's a little hard to compare. If you *mainly* want to run AAA titles from the last 3-5 years in a very portable form factor this device will do it. If you mainly want to run office and illustrator, there are far less expensive options. For occasional gaming, see what games and streaming clients (e.g., Stadia, GeForce Now) are available for like $9/mo and maybe those make more sense than the extra $600 for the GPU in this laptop.
