“How are the speakers on this laptop, in terms of sound quality and volume?”

• They are downward facing speakers, which muffles them a bit depending on the medium in which the laptop is sitting. I must say though, the sound quality was surprisingly good with great bass reproduction. The max volume level was also modest. It's not going to blow you away, but for an ultra book integrated speaker system, it's phenomenal in my opinion.

• The volume can be ramped up pretty high and the quality is decent. I wouldn't use it to stream music without headphones or external speakers but for game playing it is great.
